Surabhi Joshi is a Technical Officer in the Be He@lthy, Be Mobile initiative of the WHO and ITU. She manages the mHealth country programmes for the initiative. She holds an MPP from the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, where she was a Fulbright-Nehru Scholar. She has previously worked in the Department of Health Statistics and Information Systems at WHO Geneva, the International Union for TB and Lung Diseases (IUTLD) in New Delhi, the UNAIDS Technical Support Facility at Nepal, and the National AIDS Control Organization, Ministry of Health in New Delhi. She is a recipient of the JICA Fellowship for young leaders and Council of Women World Leaders fellowship to Finland.
